Easthams Solicitors are proud to support Friends of Poulton Railway Station.

Poulton-le-Fylde is a small town on the Fylde coast about 5 miles from Blackpool. It has been served by a railway station since 1840 when a railway line to Fleetwood was built. A few years later a junction was created when a new line to the growing town of Blackpool was built.

The current station was built in 1896 and is now operated by Northern Trains Ltd. Northern operate services from Poulton-le-Fylde to key northern destinations such as Blackpool, Manchester, Manchester Airport, Blackburn, Burnley, Bolton, Wigan, Liverpool, Bradford, Leeds and York using a fleet of new trains which came into service in 2019.

Friends of Poulton Railway Station are a group of local people who for about 15 years have volunteered their time to help with the upkeep of the station. Their work includes providing and maintaining flower beds, tubs and hanging baskets as well as general tidying of the station which make Poulton one of the nicest railway stations in the country.
